Our History
Thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters unite to advance our mission to combat malnutrition and bring hope to every child affected by it in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and surrounding provinces. For these children, an opportunity—whether it’s a hot meal, medical care, or access to education—can be the spark that ignites their belief in themselves. It gives them the strength to fight hunger and empowers them to dream of a brighter future. This belief drives us to ensure that every wish and need is fulfilled, transforming the lives of the children we serve. For a child battling malnutrition, something as simple as a nourishing meal can be a pivotal moment, restoring hope and a renewed sense of possibility. It is this life-changing impact that fuels our dedication to making every wish come true.
Helping is the great virtue for human
Feeding is more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. help impact everyone involved—help kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. For kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy.
International Advancement for kids traces its inspiration to Max H Saintil, after a trip to the batail in the Dominican Republic where Haitian kids are not allowed to go to school because of the color of their skins. In 2007, this trip came together to give new home to the Haitian community come true. Little did Max know that his whish would create a movement that would transform millions of lives. Today, IAK has granted hundreds of thousands of life- changing opportunities to children battling malnutrition, illiteracy and critical illnesses. IAK that give families hope through dark times, strength to persevere and experiences that forever change their lives.
A vision statement for "International Advancement for Kids" (IAK INC) could focus on empowering children globally through education, support, and opportunities. Here’s a suggestion: "To create a world where every child has access to quality education, essential resources, and opportunities for personal and professional growth, enabling them to realize their full potential and become leaders in their communities."
